A strong outbreak of coronavirus cases on Wednesday 11 March in Igualada forced the Department of Equality to declare the territorial confinement of Igualada, Vilanova del Camí, Santa Margarida de Montbui and Òdena. Both People & Comms collaborated with the Igualada City Council to develop a contingency and crisis communication plan to deal with the health emergency situation.
